Bodenhams story continues...
The idea to publish Muriel Bodenham's diary came during Covid-19 crisis, when Monika and Roger, the fifth generation family running Bodenhams of Ludlow, had to temporarily close the shop.
After Muriel's death in 2016, number of her diaries were discovered among her personal belongings. They are such a wonderful window into the WWII period of British history, it seemed important to record it for future generations.
